Oungre Memorial Regional Park celebrates Canada Day

Oungre Memorial Regional Park (OMRP) held its Canada Day 150 celebration on Saturday, which featuredThe day kicked off with a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a parade in the early afternoon and a jamboree at 2 p.m.

The event also offered an antique tractor show, kid’s games, face painting and a car show and shine where people displayed their glistening vehicles to enthusiastic onlookers.

Bouncy houses and two full concessions were also set up onsite for people to take advantage of and live musical performances by Ken Overcast, the Daae Family, Shayla Lynn Gill and Family, Kelly J Gill and the Hired Gunns as well as the Szakacs.

To top it all off those who attended were treated to a flashy fireworks display after the sun went down, which was sponsored by OMRP.
