The Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs continue to be a powerhouse for Saskatchewan cheer teams.
The Elecs took top spot in the scholastic cheer intermediate division for Grades 9 to 12 at the Best of the West Cheer and Dance competition at the Evraz International Trade Centre in Regina on Saturday.
It’s the fourth straight year ECS has won their division at Best of the West.
The Elecs finished with a score of 90.20 points, 2.5 more than the Thom Collegiate Trojans. The Elecs received a score of 28.1 for building, 22.9 for umps tumbling, 39.2 for choreography. They also didn’t have any deductions.
The Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles were third.
