Track athletes win medals during the Weyburn Comp Invitational meet

Track athletes from a number of different schools competed in the Weyburn Comp Invitational track and field meet on Saturday.



Track athletes from a number of different schools competed in the Weyburn Comp Invitational track and field meet on Saturday.

In the bantam boys category, competing in the 100 metre, Nixen Voll from Shaunavon took first, Travis Tiszauer from Gladmar placed second and Ty Tremere from Shaunavon took third. In the 200 m race, Ty Tremere took first, Brody Skjonsby from the Weyburn Junior High placed second and Zac Mouland from Vangaurd took third.

In the 400 m Ethan Domes from the Weyburn Junior High took first, Jackson Sinclair from McNaughton took second and Dawsen Parker from Milestone placed third. In the 800 m, Ethan Domes took first, Cam MacMurchy from the Weyburn Junior High placed second and Jackson Sinclair placed third.

In the 1,500 m Jaxon Marshall from the WJH took first, Carter Novak from Kelvington placed second and Jackson Sinclair placed third. In the 3,000 me Jaxon Marshall took first, Carter Novak placed second and Braeden Junk from the WJH finished third. In the 100 m hurdles, Travis Tiszauer took first, Nixen Voll placed second and Hawker Happ from the WJH took third.

For long jump, Travis Tiszaurer placed first, Kelvin Bates took second and Camry Sutherland from the WJH placed third. In triple jump, Nixen Voll took first, Ty Tremere placed second and Tanner Pederson from Milestone took third. In high jump, Nixen Voll took first, Travis Tiszauer placed second and Jayse Easton from McNaughton finished third. In shot put, Ben Dyck from Kincaid took first, Nick Singleton from Arcola took second and Brennan Heron from Milestone finished third. In discus, Brennan Heron took first, Carter Henderson from Carnduff placed second and Nolan Renuick from Milestone placed third. In javelin, Jayse Easton from McNaughton took first, Camry Sutherland took second and Ben Dyck placed third.

In the bantam girls category, competing in the 100 m, Cassidy Evans from Kelvington took first, Leah Kozroski from Gull Lake placed second and Shaelyn Audette from Carnduff placed third. In the 200 m, Cassidy Evans took first, Meagan Madeley from Greenall took second and Karli Polochuk from Kelvington placed third.

In the 400 m, Colby Fox from Foam Lake took first, Karlie Polochuck placed second and Payon Bock from Maple Creek placed third. In the 800 m, Tenelle Lind from Shaunavon took first, Colby Fox from Foam Lake took second and Leah Macfarlane from Carnduff placed third. In the 1,500 m Leah Macfarlane took first, Morgan Sidloski from the WJH took second and Tenelle Lind placed third. Morgan Sidloski won first in the 3,000 m. In the 80 m hurdles, MacKenzie Evans took first, Kaitlyn Kennedy placed second and Karli Polochuk placed third, with all top three from Kelvington. For long jump, MacKenzie Evans took first, Colby Fox placed second and Alex Mason from Maple Creek took third.

In triple jump, MacKenzie Evans took first, Bronwyn Douglas from Carnduff took second and Shaelyn Audette from Carnduff placed third. In high jump, Alex Mason from Maple Creek won first, Bronwyn Douglas took second and Brooklyn Davidson from McNaughton placed third. In shot put Jordan Meyers from Gladmar took first, Miranda Leader from Foam Lake took second and Ariana Schnell from Coronach took third.

In discus, Colby Fox took first, Miranda Leader from Foam Lake took second and Cassidy Kennedy from Cabri took third. In javelin, Cassandra Benson from Maple Creek took first, Miranda Leader placed second and Payton Oberg from the WJH finished third.

Competing in the midget boys category, of the 100 m race, was Regan Martin from Swift Current who took first, Jordan Voll from Shaunavon took second and Shae Little from Estevan placed third. In the 200 m, Regan Martin won first, Shae Little placed second and Jordan Voll finished third.

In the 400 m, Kyle Tisdale from Swift Current took first, Sim Mansimran from Swift Current took second and Callen Boutin from Gull Lake placed third. In the 800 m, Kyle Arndt from AE Peacock took first, Josh Anderson from Gull Lake took second and Connor Gillies from AE Peacock took third.

In the 1,500 m Josh Anderson placed first, Kyle Arndt took second and Brylan Radtke from Gull Lake placed third. In the 3,000 m Meko Cridland from AE Peacock took first, Brylan Radtke placed second and Alex Fish from Central Collegiate placed third. In the 100 m hurdles, Jordan Voll took first, Dayne Jackie from Maple Creek took second and Derek Onraet from Kincaid placed third.

In long jump, Shae Little took first, Dayne Jackie from Maple Creek took second and Parker Campbell from Maple Creek took third. For triple jump, Shae Little took first, Kyle Tisdale placed second and Daylin Novak from Kelvington placed third. In high jump, Brady Resch from Coronach took first, Colton Turlow from Coronach placed second and Parker Campbell from Maple Creek took third.

In shot put Colton Thurlow from Coronach took first, Austin Lund from the WJH took second and Bryden Rumpel from the Weyburn Comp placed third. In discus Jordan Voll took first, Colton Thurlow from Coronach placed second and Jarod Prouse from Kelvington took third. In javelin, Kyle Arndt placed first, Griffin Barrett from AE Peacock placed second and Parker Campbell from Maple Creek took third.

Competing in the midget girls category, in the 100 m, Gabrielle Sanson from Vanier took first, Kiana Avery from Vanier placed second and Cassie Jans from Gull Lake took third. In the 200 m, Gabrielle Sanson took first, Brynna Spence from the WJH placed second and Brittn Lamontagne from Swift Current finished third. In the 400 m, Kiana Avery took first, Cassie Jans placed second and Kyra Braaten from Cabri placed third.

In the 800 m, Brynna Spence won first, Kyra Braaten took second and Malisa Collier from Swift Current placed third. In the 1,500 m, Karley Patenaude from Swift Current took first, Shaelynn Driver from McNaughton took second and Reece Girodat from Gull Lake placed third. In the 3,000 m, Karley Patenaude took first, Reece Girodat placed second and Shaelynn Driver took third. In the 80 m hurdles, Ashley Blair from Vanier took first, Danielle Fedak from Foam Lake took second and Abygail Korbo from Central placed third.

For long jump, Krya Braaten took first, Alayna McDonald from Cabri took second and Kayla Verity from Carnduff placed third. For triple jump, Abygail Korbo from Central placed first, Laura Fiddlers from Gull Lake placed second and Kayla Verity finished third.

In high jump, Jenna Funk from Swift Current took first, Brittney Johnstone from AE Peacock placed second and Karrie Therrien from Swift Current finished third.

In shot put, Mikayla Swallow form Vanier took first, Alayna McDonald placed second and Emily Eidy from Vanier took third. In discus, Danieel Fedak placed first, Rhyse Coward from Swift Current placed second and Mikayla Swallow finished third. In javelin, Emily Reidy from Vanier placed first, Shelby Olsen from AE Peacock took second and Hanna Gross from Kincaid finished third.

In the junior boys category, Mark Magtoto from Swift Current took first, Dakota Vargo from McNaughton placed second and Brock Larson from Stoughton finished third. In the 200 m Brock Larson placed first, Ryan Fiolk from Stoughton took second and Dakota Vargo placed third. In the 400 m, Rhett Carlson from Swift Current took first, Nick Cuthbert from the WCS finished second and Jared Astleford from AE Peacock took third.

In the 800 m, Nick Cutherbert won first, Kalen Roney from AE Peacock took second and Bradyn Guraudier from Assiniboia finished third. In the 1,500 m, Kalen Roney from AE Peacock took first, Jalen Mikuliak from Central took second and Chad Buchko from Vanier placed third. In the 3,000 m Kalen Roney took first, Eric Harvey from Gull Lake placed second and Kurtis Munro finished third.

In the 100 m hurdles, Bradyn Giraudier placed first, Ryan Flolk from Stoughton took second and Shaye Hartman from AE Peacock finished third. In the junior boys category, Ben Spaleta from Vanier took first, Rhett Carlson from Swift Current placed second and Steven Elmy from Coronach finished third. In triple jump, Ben Spaleta took first, Steven Elmy placed second and Mark Magtoto finished third.

In high jump, Sterling Tschetter from Swift Current took first, Conor Lafoy from the WCS took second and Dalto Christiansen from Swift Current placed third. In shot put, Ty Peterson from Kelvington placed first, Alex Zinger from Greenall took second and Dylan Cann from Arcola finished third. In discus, Ty Peterson placed first, Scott Jones from the WCS placed second and Jacob Shurygalo from Estevan placed third. In javelin, Chase Martin from Coronach too first, Ty Peterson placed second and Dylan Cann from Arcola finished third.

In the junior girls category, for the 100 m, Jenna Kreklewich from Estevan took first, Rachel Davis from Shaunavon took second and Laurel Oberkirsch from WCS placed third. In the 200 m, Jade Weimer from Greenall took first, Laurel Oberkirsch finsihed second and Rachel Davis from Shaunavon placed third. In the 400 m, Rachel Davis took first, Emily Kam from Central placed second and Shayla Fisher from Radville took third.

In the 800 m, Emily Kam took first, Brooke Petreny from McNaughton took second and Shayla Fisher from Radville placed third. In the 1,500 m Erin Winterton from Central took first and Abby Chicoine from Carnduff placed second. In the 3,000 m Erin Winterto placed first and Lacey Happ from the WCS took second. In the 80 m hurdles, Emma Lees from the WCS won first, Erin Winterton from Central took second and Karissa Spence from AE Peacock finsihed third. In long jump, Alexa Kutchall from Shaunavon took first, Jocelyn Marquette from Kelvington took second and Kenna Kreklewich won third.

In triple jump, Erin Winterton won first, Alyssa Bennett from the WCS took second and Jenna Kreklewich took third. In high jump, Jocelyn Marquette from Kelvington won first, Tyra Peters from Swift Current won second and Jaycee Richards from AE Peacock won third. In shot put, Shania Taylor from Arcola won first, Chelsea Sidloski from the WCS took second and Brianna Walz from AE Peacock took third.

In discus, Shanie Taylor from Arcola took first, Jade Weimer placed second and Jaydo Weitterman from Vanier placed third. In javelin Megan Gronsdahl from Assiniboia took first, Jade Weimer placed second and Shania Taylor took third.

In senior boys, in the 100 m, William Chamney from Estevan took first, Zack McChesney from Kelvington placed second and Reid Fristzke from Swift Current won third. In the 200 m, William Chamney took first, Nol Thoroughgood from AE Peacock took second and Devon Sietten from Maple Creek won third. In the 400 m Nol Thoroughgood won first, Shane Smart from Gull Lake won second and Devon Sietten took third.

In the 800 m, Nol Thoroughgood won first, Greg Rousseaux from Swift Current won second and Devon Sletten took third. In the 1,500 m Daniel Ferguson from AE Peacock won first, Nathan Avery from Central took second and Graeme Fish from AE Peacock took third. In the 3,000 m Daniel Ferguson won first, Graeme Fish took second and Nathan Avery from Central placed third.

In the 100 m hurdles, Phillip Dyck from Kincaird took first, Daxton Moffatt from AE Peacock placed second and Devon Sletten from Maple Creek won third. In long jump, Wyatt Ramsay from Maple Creek won first, Brett Messer from Midale won second and Rick Davis from Stoughton took third. In triple jump, Brett Messer took first, Lee Melle from Gladmar took second and Russel Rabanal from Carnduff placed third. In high jump, Ben Rumpel from WCS won first, Parker Chow from Central took second and Brady Blackmore from Gladmar finished third. In shot put, Reid Fritzke from Swift Current won first, Brandon Thurlow from Coronach took second and Blake Olsen won third. In discus, Brandon Thurlow took first, Reid Fritzke placed second and Daxton Moffatt finished third. In javelin, Ben Kendall from Carnudff won first, James Forester took second and Cordell Bellrose from Vanier took third.

In the senior girls category, in the 100 m, Sabrina Mainil from the WCS won first, Brooklyn Haubrich from Swift Current took second and Shaelyn Standish from Kelvington took third. In the 200 m Sabrina Mainil won first, Brooklyn Haubrich took second and Ashley Toews from Swift Current won third. In the 400 m, Morgan Lund from Midale took first, Taylor Hoffart from Gladmar took second and Brooke Erickson from the WCS won third.

In the 800 m, Tori Carlson from Swift Current won first, Danica Kitzul from Foam Lake took second and Erika Vallee from Gull Lake won third. In the 1,500 m Allyson Fitzgerald from Vanier won first, Leia Anderson from Swift Current took second and Jensen Varjessy from Swift Current placed third. In the 3,000 m Allyson Fitzgerald won first, Jensen Varjessy took second and Leia Anderson won third.

In the 80 m hurdles, Shaelyn Standish won first, Robyn Morgan from Kincaid took second and Erika Coquiette from Kelvington took third. In long jump, Shaelyn Standish won first, Brooklyn Haubrich took second and Abbigayl Flanagan from Vanier took third.

In triple jump, Shaelyn Standish took first, Abbigayl Flanagan won second and Miranda Elmy finished third. In high jump, Taylor Hoffart from Gladmar took first, Miranda Elmy took second and Sara Adiran from Swift Current took third.
