WEYBURN – The Weyburn U15 Knight Dodge Wings defeated the Oxbow Huskies in round 1 of the MMMHL playoff series, and have now moved on to the second round versus the Carlyle Cougars for a best-of-three series that begins Monday night in Carlyle.

The Wings took game 1 against Oxbow at home with a score of 3-1.

Vann Dennis was in net for the Wings, with Kai Fisher, Kale Chinski and Connor McIndoe scoring for the Wings.

Game 2 was on Friday night in Oxbow with the Wings winning the game 4-2.

Cash Wilgenbusch was in net and Kai Fisher(2), Kyde Schwindt and Connor McIndoe scored for the Wings.

The team includes Kale Kalberg, Ryder Hignett, Bradyn Morken, Wyatt Chinski, Brody McRae, Kyde Schwindt, Austin Zackrisson, Joel Benson, Kai Fisher, Ben Maloney, Nash Hignett, Carson Vallier, Connor McIndoe, Jackson Stadnek, Kale Chinski and Carter Downing, with goaltenders Vann Dennis and Cash Wilgenbusch

The coaches include head coach Aaron Downing, Kent Fisher and Boyd Dennis.
