Update: Severe thunderstorm warning ends in SE Sask

Severe thunderstorm warning was in place for nearly an hour in the RM of Mount Pleasant.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been lifted.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The severe thunderstorm warning has been lifted in the southeast corner of the province. 

The warning stated that at 2:21 p.m., Environment Canada meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing 90 kilometre per hour wind gusts, up to nickel-sized hail and heavy rain.

The warning covered the RM of Enniskillen, which encompasses Glen Ewen, Oxbow and Northgate, and Mount Pleasant, which includes Carnduff. The warning for the RM of Mount Pleasant ended at 3:21 p.m. 

The tornado watch for the southeast corner of the province has also been lifted.
