EPS asks public to review cameras to help identify individual

Police are asking any public that might live in the 1000, 1100, 1200 and 1300 blocks of Third, Second and First Street with cameras on the outside of their residence to review the footage.

ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service is asking for assistance in identifying an individual.

Police received a report of an individual entering a residence while the homeowners were asleep on June 26. The homeowners woke up and the individual fled.

Police are asking any public that might live in the 1000, 1100, 1200 and 1300 blocks of Third, Second and First Street with cameras on the outside of their residence to review the footage between the hours of 1 and 2 a.m. of June 26, 2024, for individuals passing by.

"If you might have footage of an individual please call the police and report it," EPS asked in a press release.

On June 25, police also received a report of individuals shooting a BB gun in their yard.  It was a homeowner who was warned under the bylaw that it is illegal to discharge a BB gun in the city.
