ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service is asking for help from the public in locating a vehicle that fled during an attempted traffic stop.
Shortly after midnight on Dec. 3, a white pickup truck failed to stop for police after several traffic safety offences were observed by an EPS member. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Highway 39 leaving Estevan.
An investigation into the identity of the driver is continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact the EPS at 306-634-4767.
EPS members responded to a collision Dec. 2 at Second Street and Ninth Avenue that resulted in one vehicle being towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Police received a report Dec. 3 of a suspicious male walking down a street in south Estevan. The individual was located, and was simply out for a walk and not in need of any assistance.
A truck was reported to be unlawfully parked in a handicap space in an east commercial lot. The vehicle was located and no placard was visible, resulting in a notice of violation.
The EPS received a report of suspicious activity around a business in west Estevan. Members attended, located the subject of the complaint and determined the person was associated with the company.
Police received a report of a possible impaired driver coming into the city on Highway 47. The vehicle was located and the driver was found to be sober.
A female reported that a vehicle had been following her while she was out walking during the evening. Members attended her location and provided her with assistance in getting home safely.
