ESTEVAN — The Estevan Fire Rescue Service responded to a motor vehicle collision and a fire alarm last week.
On Jan. 27, shortly after 4 p.m., the EFRS was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision a couple kilometres west of the city. Crews responded and assisted the Estevan RCMP at the scene along with Estevan EMS. No entrapment occurred and minor injuries were reported from the incident, said Estevan Fire Chief Rick Davies.
On Feb.1 shortly after 8 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a commercial fire alarm in the north-central area of the city. Crews responded, investigated and confirmed no emergency was occurring, as the smoke alarm was deemed faulty.
