Estevan man arrested for threats, assaults and more

ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service members arrested an individual for uttering threats and assault.

Police also received a report of multiple assaults against an individual and uttering threats on Feb. 12. Members responded, and as a result, a 36-year-old Estevan man was arrested. He has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of uttering threats.

At the time of the offences, the man was serving a sentence in the community under a conditional sentence order (CSO). He will face an allegation of breaching that CSO as well as criminal charges.

The same day, police received a report of individuals driving vehicles off-road and onto public spaces in the city. A mischief to property investigation is ongoing regarding that complaint.

A report of criminal harassment was also received by EPS. A statement was obtained from the complainant, and the matter remains under investigation.
