ESTEVAN — Residents at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home received a heartwarming surprise on Valentine’s Day, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, the Estevan Kinettes and students from Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS).
Flowers and cards were delivered to the home, bringing smiles and excitement to the residents, who were touched by the thoughtful gestures.
"The residents were really excited and grateful," said Veronica Armas, who works in the recreation department at the nursing home. "We just want to say how much we appreciate these details that make a difference and put a smile on our residents.
"We wish a Happy Valentine's to everyone in our awesome Estevan," Armas added.
