Estevan police assist Regina in investigation

Latest news from the Estevan Police Service include a report of an individual failing to pay for fuel, arrests, reports of threats and more.

ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service assisted the Regina Police Service on Monday.

EPS received a request from the RPS to locate a woman in Estevan in relation to a matter they are investigating on Feb. 10.  The female was located, and documents were served on her on behalf of RPS.

The same day, a complaint of an individual failing to pay for fuel was investigated during dayshift. EPS members located the individual and were able to resolve the matter.

Police received an uttering threats complaint. The matter is still under investigation.

A report of a victim’s debit card being used without authorization was received and remains under investigation.

EPS received 35 calls for service over the weekend of Feb. 7-9 that resulted in three people being arrested and lodged in cells on Feb. 7, two driver’s license suspensions for driving under the influence and various other calls for service.

EPS members also attended to a Pleasantdale residence to conduct a welfare check on a female. The female was found to be in good health and not in need of any assistance.

EPS received a report of a theft from a local business. The matter is still under investigation.

A complaint of an individual uttering threats was received by EPS. The matter is still under investigation.
