SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - A heat warning was issued across southern Saskatchewan on Tuesday.

The advisory was for more than 240 RMs - including the cities, towns, villages and hamlets within those RMs - as well as the cities of Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw.

The warning stated a period of extreme heat is expected for southern Saskatchewan. Daytime high temperatures were expected to reach at least 32 C, and overnight lows were to be around 16 C for several days. Humidity will also be noticeable, with Humidex values likely exceeding 38.
