ESTEVAN - Estevan's Melly the dog is going to need your support if he is to advance to the next round in the America's Favourite Pet contest.
As of Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m., Melly was sitting in third spot in his group. He needs to finish first in his group this time if he is to advance.

Local man Ethan Ehrmantraut entered himself and Melly for the America's Favourite Pet contest. One dog and one cat from all the entries will win $10,000 each and be featured on the cover of Modern Dog or Modern Cat magazine.
Ehrmantraut said Melly is a three-year-old rough collie mixed with a golden retriever. Ehrmantraut adopted Melly on Valentine's Day in 2022, when Melly was less than two months old.
Melly is a great dog who has lots of energy, Ehrmantraut said. The pooch's bio on the America's Favourite Pet website says Melly is a very loving boy. His favourite toy is his Kong teddy bear, and he brings it to bed every night.
