Photos: Storm caused damage, dropped large hail on Estevan

Estevan was hit by a powerful thunderstorm late Sunday and early Monday that brought powerful winds and hail.

ESTEVAN - A powerful thunderstorm hit the Estevan area on Sunday night and early Monday. 

These photos were sent to us by readers of SaskToday.ca and the Estevan Mercury's Facebook group. They show the damage the storm caused and the size of the hail that pelted the Energy City and the surrounding area.

The storm resulted in calls for the Estevan Police Service and the Estevan Fire Rescue Service, and knocked out power to several communities.
