ESTEVAN — Sister Roddy Road and Johnston Road in Estevan are closed until further notice due to forecasted rainfall and ongoing maintenance, the City of Estevan announced Saturday morning.
The city said the closures are precautionary, citing both safety concerns from the anticipated wet weather and the need to complete maintenance work.
“Please be advised that, due to the heavily forecasted rain alongside maintenance being done, Sister Roddy Road and Johnston Road will be closed starting tonight until further notice,” the city said in a statement.
Crews from the Roads and Drainage Department will monitor the situation and reopen the roads once it is safe to do so.
The city said further updates will be provided as conditions evolve.
