A severe thunderstorm warning has come to an end in the southeast.

UPDATE - The severe thunderstorm warning has come to an end in southeast Saskatchewan.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for parts of southeast Saskatchewan. 

The warning, issued at 5:07 p.m., stated that Environment Canada meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel-size hail and heavy winds. 

The warning was for the RMs of Coalfields, Browning, Moose Creek and Enniskillen, and the towns, villages and hamlets in those RMs. 

Meanwhile, Estevan was hit with a brief downpour on Tuesday late afternoon.
