ESTEVAN - A snowstorm is creating challenging travel conditions in parts of southeast Saskatchewan on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, highways in the Estevan and Weyburn areas are partially covered with reduced visibility as the storm pushes into the southeast.

Swirling, loose and drifting snow are among the issues on the highways.

A snowfall warning remains in effect for the Estevan area and the vast majority of southern Saskatchewan.

The Mercury and SaskToday will have more details as they become available.
