ESTEVAN -- Estevan Police Service dealt with a number of occurrences on Monday.
As a result of a traffic stop conducted by EPS on June 10, a woman received a 72-hour driver’s license suspension, and her vehicle was impounded for three days after she tested positive on the roadside screening device for THC. The driver was also issued a ticket for travelling 103 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone.
The same day police members responded to a report of fraud being committed at a local business. A statement was obtained and the matter is under investigation.
Officers received a report of a suspicious man walking in the central part of town. Members attended but were unable to locate the man.
EPS responded to a report of items being taken out of a vehicle during the night. The matter is under investigation.
Members also received a report of a two-vehicle collision. Both parties were spoken to, and information was exchanged.
