Update: Thunderstorm advisories end after night of storms

The advisory includes much of southern Saskatchewan.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for numerous southeast RMs.

UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm watches and warnings have been lifted in southern Saskatchewan.

Multiple storms passed through the southeast and south-central regions on Wednesday night, with reports of strong winds and hail. At one time, 17 RMs were subject to a thunderstorm warning.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - For the third consecutive day, a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of southern Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada issued the advisory Wednesday. Regina, Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle and Assiniboia are among the areas affected. 

"Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon over southern Saskatchewan and continue through this evening. There is the threat that some of these thunderstorms will be severe. Primary threats will be very large hail and strong winds and there is also the possibility of a tornado or two."
