ESTEVAN — A curious moose was spotted on the grounds of the Souris Valley Museum early on the morning of Jan. 28.
The museum’s executive director and curator, Melanie Memory, shared that the moose was simply wandering through their backyard.
“It came through the back of the property and went out the front, got spooked by the highway traffic, and ran back into our yard. Hung out for a bit, then headed west,” Memory said.
“A sight to see for sure at 8:30 a.m.,” she added.
