ALIDA - The first evening of the Alida Haunted House and escape rooms was Oct. 20 at the Alida Rink, and it will continue Oct. 21, with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The ghosts, goblins and spooks have found their secret spots and they will be waiting for you.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the Hull families on the death of Marie (Cecil) Hull, late of Carnduff and formally of Nottingham on Oct. 12 at the age of 99.
Marie is survived by her four children 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, along with two siblings. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Tim and Shelly Cowan and daughter Ainsley attended a special engagement party in Regina in honour of daughter Lacie Nilsen and Jesse Fuchs on Oct. 14, where they met many new friends and family members. Congratulations Lacie and Jesse and best wishes in your future life together.
