ASSINIBOIA - The Assiniboia Child Care Services will host their annual art auction at the Shurniak Gallery in Assiniboia from October 26 to 31.
Local residents can place bids on pieces at the gallery or on their Facebook page "Assiniboia Child Care Services"
All proceeds go to children's program at the Assiniboia Child Care facility, such as art supplies and attending special events
“Children are everything that adults have become... engineers, teachers, ... and artists. In conjunction with Shurniak we are able to deliver a full learning experience for the children and involve the community,” said Michele Vallieres, director of Assiniboia Family and Child Care Services.
The Ministry of Education, Early Years Branch implemented a guide in 2008 for early childhood in Saskatchewan. Play and Exploration is important at Assiniboia Child Care.
