The Entrepreneurship 30 class at the Weyburn Comprehensive School has formed In the Moment Clothing Co. as the Junior Achievement company for this semester.
The company will offer hoodies and beanies, and the students have committed to donating 10 per cent of their profits to the Weyburn Humane Society once the semester has wrapped up.
The hoodies are being sold in black, grey and burgundy in sizes ranging from small to XXL, along black or grey beanies.
The hoodies have the name of the company on the front left side in small writing, and in the back, they have the saying “Time Is Money” and a picture of the monopoly man, without the bow-tie so it doesn’t infringe on copyright.
The student company is led by co-presidents Ryker Watt and Jared Vilcu, and the following in their respective positions: VP’s of Finance, Chelsea Speedie and Cadence Bowman-Schmidt; VP’s of Sales, Ben Manning and Shae Pelechaty; VP’s of Marketing, Evan Lund, John Vogel and Riley Payne; VP’s of Production, Ty Boren, Eva Severson and Elias West; VP's of Human Resources, Hayley Gill and Halle Robbins; VP's of Information Technology, Ben Michel and Danny Fortune; and the VP of Environment, Health and Safety/Corporate Responsibility, Tre Thompson.
There are four mentors for the students, including Larry Heggs, executive director of the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce; Verna O’Neill of Community Futures Sunrise; business owner Jeff Chessall; and Andria Brady, the SK Digital Coordinator with Community Futures Sunrise. She will be working with IT and Marketing providing her digital expertise this semester.
