6,410 grams of meth seized in Regina drug arrest

Several drug charges laid following a vehicle stop in Regina.

A 40-year-old Regina woman has been arrested on a number of drug-related charges.

REGINA - Regina Police Service have announced they have arrested a 40-year-old Regina woman on a number of drug-related charges.

Police report that on July 27, a vehicle stop was done in the east end of Regina where the passenger was arrested. The following items were seized:

  • 1,480 grams of methamphetamine
  • MDMA
  • Scales, packaging, and other evidence of drug trafficking

Later, a CDSA search warrant was executed in the east end of Regina, where a small amount of fentanyl and additional items of evidence to support drug trafficking were located.

The Regina Drug Unit continued the investigation, leading to police seizing the following additional items:

  • 4,930 grams of methamphetamine
  • $8500 in currency
  • 25 grams of cocaine

At the conclusion of the investigation, the 40-year-old was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of MDMA and proceeds of crime under $5,000. Her first court appearance was July 28 in Regina.
