CARLYLE - Addiction counsellors from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, along with several community members, joined in a walk in downtown Carlyle on Tuesday to promote National Addictions Awareness Week from Nov. 19-25.
The theme for 2024 is Inspiration, Innovation and Inclusion, which are key ingredients for a healthier Canadian society.
This walk symbolizes that it takes working together, a wide range of perspectives and collective efforts to drive needed change to help people affected by addictions in communities.
