AEW events are confirmed for Saskatoon and Regina for July.

UPDATE: There has been a date change to the Regina AEW show. Instead of July 14, it will take place Saturday, July 8 at 6 p.m., and it will be a televised show. The Saskatoon show is going ahead as scheduled.

REGINA - After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that All Elite Wrestling is on its way to Saskatchewan.

The wrestling promotion has confirmed a month-long Canadian tour starting in June, with Saskatchewan set to host two shows in July.

On July 12, AEW: Dynamite is scheduled for Sasktel Centre in Saskatoon with tickets going on sale starting Friday, March 24 at 10 AM central time.

On Friday, July 14, AEW Rampage is scheduled for Brandt Centre in Regina, with tickets also going on sale March 24, at 10 a.m.

Both Saskatchewan shows are televised events carried in Canada by TSN. Other AEW events are scheduled for Toronto (Forbidden Door), Hamilton, Edmonton, and Calgary.

It's definitely not the first time major wrestling promotions have come to Saskatoon or Regina, as both hosted WWE events last fall and on several previous occasions. But it does mark the first AEW events in Saskatchewan.

The AEW events follow on the heels of AEW's debut in Toronto last year. The announcement of the Canadian tour was made the same day that AEW was set to go for a televised event in Winnipeg, their first international event of 2023.

“Canada has a rich wrestling heritage, and our debut in Toronto last year served as a special moment in our incredible relationship with fans throughout the country," said Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, in a news release. “Now, we’re not only entering new markets, but also paying homage to the history of Canadian wrestling with unique moments like AEW House Rules taking place from the iconic Calgary Stampede. This summer is shaping up to be massive with the return of Forbidden Door, and now Canadian fans in six separate markets will get the chance to witness what AEW have to offer up close and personal.”
