RESORT VILLAGE OF SASKATCHEWAN BEACH — The body of a deceased adult male has been recovered from the Last Mountain Lake and investigators are working to identify him.
RCMP say that on Aug. 21 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Southey RCMP received a report of a deceased individual in the water at the resort village of Saskatchewan Beach.
People in the area around Saskatchewan Beach can expect to see an increased police presence for the next several hours while officers investigate.
Southey RCMP, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, continue to investigate this sudden death.
Police say updates will be provided as soon as they become available.
