The Festival of Lights at Woodlawn Regional Park has been a popular attraction thus far.
Local businesses and organizations have Christmas light displays set up in the park’s Souris River campground. Many of them have used inflatables, props and other items to add to their entries.
The festival started on Dec. 15 and will continue until Jan. 7.
Many people have been coming down to the park on a nightly basis to drive around and view the exhibits. Others have been walking through the park, thanks to the above-average temperatures that have lingered in the southeast for much of the past two weeks.
The next edition of the Mercury will have more on this story.
