Carlyle RCMP arrests one, seeks another, following Kisbey gas plant theft

The Carlyle RCMP has issued an arrest warrant for Trent Raynard in connection with a recent theft at the Kisbey Gas Plant. Another person has been arrested.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Trent Raynard in connection with a November theft at the Kisbey Gas Plant.

CARLYLE - The Carlyle RCMP has announced charges against two people in connection with a theft in southeast Saskatchewan. 

On Nov. 27, the RCMP responded to a break and enter that occurred at a gas plant near Kisbey sometime between Nov. 24-26. Various items had been stolen from the business.

The RCMP investigated with the assistance of Yorkton RCMP Forensic Identification Services. A search warrant was executed near Arcola, and officers located and recovered multiple items believed to have been stolen, including a camper trailer, tools and electronics.

As a result of continued investigation, 25-year-old Brianna Paul and 32-year-old Trent Raynard of Stoughton were each charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; theft under $5,000 and mischief under $5,000. All charges are under the Criminal Code. 

Paul was arrested on Dec. 14. She appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on Dec. 18.

A warrant has been issued for Raynard’s arrest, and the Carlyle RCMP is working to locate him.

Raynard is described as being five-foot-six and weighing 132 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. 

The Carlyle RCMP says that if anyone sees Raynard, do not approach him. Report sightings or information on his whereabouts to a local police service.
