Customers enjoyed visiting with Home Hardware employees as they took in the new decorations for the season.

Nov. 1st saw a large number of people lining up for the second annual Christmas Wonderland held at Carlyle Home Hardware. The group working at Home Hardware had meetings to discuss a variety of ideas concerning their new winter and Christmas specific decorations. The crew worked diligently to produce a room filled with Christmas cheer, which has turned into a great success.

"It's like walking into a forest," Nancy Matthewson, owner/operator, stated.

A variety of Christmas trees are set up in the showroom with a number of neat decorations surrounding them including a blow up snowman who appears to be both laughing and possibly shivering in the cold.

Upon entering the store adults were asked to donate five dollars to the Carlyle Food Bank Christmas Hampers. With a steady flow of people coming through the doors they were able to raise $355 for the cause.

Following entry people were welcomed to peruse the new products and enjoy deals offered one night only including coupons for Powder scarves, Christmas wreaths, and NHL Puck Underwear. Also included was a coupon to Carlyle Food World. With Christmas being a busy time for the Food Bank it was a nice way to encourage people to give back this season through purchasing non-perishable food items with a discount.

The night included a variety of prizes given away in a Christmas draw. There was wine and snacks for all to enjoy, as well as the option to have a cup of tea which is sold at the store.

From new snow shovels to new Christmas decorations Home Hardware seems to have your needs covered with their new products for the season.
