A classic landspout tornado was spotted by a group of four residents northeast of Griffin late Saturday afternoon as a part of a passing thunderstorm. The small tornado lasted for about 10 minutes. The group included Kevin Hallberg (who took the photo), Peter Lauf, Lorne Garland and Winston Bailey.
