Estevan Police Service handled various calls during the weekend

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service says it responded to 41 calls for service from Nov. 10-12. 

Members were dispatched to a variety of calls, including multiple reports of fraud, an indecent act, harassment, and several bylaw-related calls for improper parking.

Police received a report of suspicious people with flashlights looking around property shortly after 6 a.m. on Nov. 11. Officers located the individuals and determined everything was fine.

Officers assisted Estevan Emergency Medical Services with two separate calls during the day.

Police received a report of an individual possibly trespassing on commercial property. Members attended and didn’t locate anyone in the area.

Members received a complaint of criminal harassment on Nov. 12. The matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of vehicles being parked illegally at the Power Dodge Arena. Police attended and issued a number of parking tickets.

While out on patrol, police located individuals setting off fireworks within city limits. They were warned of the bylaw and sent on their way.
