In the Souris-Moose Mountain riding, Steven Bonk is running as the Conservative candidate. Bonk — formerly the MLA for Moosomin — chose not to seek re-election as an MLA in the fall to run as the federal Conservative candidate in Souris-Moose Mountain. Remi Rheault has announced he is running as the Green Party candidate in the Souris-Moose Mountain Riding and Hannah Raketti is the People’s Party candidate.
In the Yorkton-Melville riding, Cathay Wagantall has announced she will seek re-election as the Conservative candidate. Valerie Brooks has announced she is running as the Green Party candidate.
Former Conservative MP Larry Maguire of Brandon-Souris announced suddenly last week that he would not be seeking re-election due to health reasons. Grant Jackson, the MLA for Spruce Woods, has decided to run as the Conservative candidate in the Brandon-Souris riding, stepping down as MLA. Quentin Robinson is the NDP candidate. Jim Oliver is the People’s Party candidate. Ghazanfar Ali Tarar is the Liberal candidate.
In Riding Mountain, Dan Mazier will be seeking re-election as the Conservative candidate. Terry Hayward is the Liberal candidate. Donnan McKenna is the People’s Party candidate.
