Work crews are busy replacing the dirt on Wednesday after an old watermain and hydrant were dug up and replaced on Government Road beside the City Centre Mall. Traffic on Government Road was reduced to one lane to enable the work to be completed. This year, partly due to a frost that reportedly went as deep as six or seven feet, saw a number of watermain breaks and repairs needing to be done, including one on New City Garden Road that was difficult for city crews to locate.
