The Weyburn & District Chamber of Commerce's Farmer Appreciation Night is ready to go and they are now ready for nominations for the Golden Sheaf Award.
"The Chamber has been presenting the Golden Sheaf Award to a producer who demonstrates excellence in agriculture, business, and citizenship for over 15 years," said Chamber President Rod Gill. "We would encourage everyone to look around our community pay tribute to someone who has achieved success in agriculture," concluded Gill.
"The Chamber is confident in the strength of our agricultural business sector in Weyburn and area, and we're proud to have the opportunity to pay tribute to that industry," said Chamber Manager Jeff Richards. "We would also like to remind everyone that nominations for the Golden Sheaf Award close on Thursday, October 30 at 5:00 p.m.," added Richards.
Golden Sheaf Nominations can be picked up at the Chamber office, or downloaded from the Chamber website at www.weyburnchamber.com.
