REGINA — A man appearing in Regina Provincial Court on sexual assault and inappropriate touching on a person under 16 years of age was released from custody today.
Conditions in the Crown-proposed release included attending Court when required, reporting to probation, living in an approved residence, no contact with the complainant, and no contact with anyone under the age of 16 unless in the company of an adult approved for such purposes by a probation officer.
A trial date has been previously set in relation to the matter, so these and previous breach charges will be set for the June 12 date as well.
The accused man noted – via telephone appearance – that he was “very remorseful.”
