REGINA — The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising those who attended the Saskatchewan Roughriders game last week of potential exposure to COVID-19.
In a public notice issued on Aug. 13, the SHA is warning that an increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 was present in the Pil Country section at Mosaic Stadium on Aug. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
At least one infected individual was in attendance at the game in this section.
Contact tracing is underway, but the SHA said that it will be difficult to be thorough due to the location.
Public health is advising anyone who was in attendance, particularly watching from the Pil Country end zone, during this time to self-monitor for symptoms. If any develop, begin self-isolating immediately and seek testing.
Those who already felt unwell or were in contact with someone who was unwell at the game, self-isolate and seek testing immediately.
HealthLine 811 is still available to contact, if you experience symptoms related to COVID-19.
