Update: snowfall warning lifted in the southeast and south-central regions

The snowfall warning that was in effect for southeast and south-central Saskatchewan has been lifted. 

Environment Canada has issued the warning for southern Saskatchewan, with total accumulations of 10-15 centimetres expected Saturday night and into Sunday. Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle and Assiniboia were among the affected communities.

The heaviest snowfall was expected for communities closest to the Canada-U.S. border.

The warning was lifted Sunday at 3:21 p.m.,
