WEYBURN – The second annual Assiniboia Park School Golf Tournament was held from Tuesday to Thursday.
This year’s event took place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the 13th, 14th and 15th of June.
There were 32 students from Grades 1-2, 37 from Grades 3-4 and 21 Grades 5-6 golfers taking part.
The golf took place on the APES playground and there was lots of fun and even some very good shots.
Golfers prepared for the event by taking part in sports club at lunch time over the last four weeks. Thanks to many generous individuals and businesses, almost every golfer ended up with some type of prize.
