A power shovel ripped down pieces of the Weyburn Inn on Monday afternoon, as the former motel was demolished by a crew from Jerry Mainil Ltd. Crews had salvaged many items from the building before demolition began, including some items for Weyburn Minor Football, and it will take several days for the rubble to be cleaned up. The property was bought by Barber Motors to expand the lot for the dealership.
