WEYBURN - The transfer of the Haig Elementary School property to the City of Weyburn will be completed soon.

The school facility has been demolished and the property, adjoining some park space in the city, might be used to increase and enhance that current site. The transition will be completed with transfer and legal fees to be paid by the city.

During the discussion and vote on this decision, Jennifer Wilkinson, trustee for Subdivision 6 (Ogema, Pangman, Gladmar, Radville, Yellow Grass and Oungre), declared a conflict of interest and left the conference room. She returned following the vote that approved a motion to transfer the property title.

All of the other board members in attendance voted in favour.
