UPDATE:
ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service says an investigation is underway after police responded to a residence in the 100-block of the Willow Park Greens home park in south Estevan at around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The Weyburn/Estevan Joint Tactical Support Team (JTST), the K-9 division, crisis negotiators and other support teams were involved in executing a search warrant.
The response teams have since cleared the area, as have emergency crews however the area was still barricaded as of 2:30 p.m. as investigators continue to process the scene.
Although the EPS says no risk to public safety exists, police are asking the public to avoid the barricaded area to allow for on-scene investigators to process the site.
In addition to police, other emergency crews have been at the scene.
There have been reports of a loud boom in the area earlier this morning and drones have been spotted at the scene.
The EPS says further details with respect to the search warrant will be forthcoming.
