WEYBURN – The Weyburn Public Library, along with the branches of Southeast Regional Library, now have access to Kanopy, a free streaming service that offers access to a wide variety of movies and films.

You only need to have your library card and a smart device, whether it’s a phone, tablet, computer or smart TV, and an account will be set up for streaming of the movie titles they have available.

Kanopy is a video streaming service for quality entertainment, offering movies, documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain.

The service is available as an app for Apple devices or through Google Play, with use of a library card and pin number.

If a patron does not know their pin number or needs help for streaming, they can bring their device in to the library for assistance.

To connect to the service, go to https://www.kanopy.com/en/southeastca/, or go to the library’s website at https://weyburnpubliclibrary.weebly.com/, click on e-resources and scroll down to the Kanopy square to get started.
