WEYBURN – The Weyburn Police Association Police Science and Emergency Services Bursary was presented to Levi Krienke on July 23.
The Weyburn Police Association issued a bursary application to graduating students from the Weyburn Comprehensive High School in early 2022. Two bursaries valued at $500 each were available.
One was to be awarded to a student enrolled in post-secondary studies in Police/ Criminal Justice major with the intention of pursuing a career as a Police Officer. The second was to be awarded to a student enrolled in post-secondary studies in any emergency services major with intention of pursuing a career in Policing, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, or an emergency response field.
Constable Kalin Wiebe, Secretary, and Constable Philip Clark, Treasurer, on behalf of the Weyburn Police Association, presented Levi Krienke a $500 bursary.
Levi is enrolled at University of Regina majoring in Police Studies. Levi intends in pursuing a career in Policing upon completion of his degree.
