REGINA — In their lone game last week, the Regina Pats doubled up the Moose Jaw Warriors, 8-4, on Saturday.
With the victory, the Pats had a 25-22-2-1 record. They were sixth in the Western Hockey League’s Eastern Conference. In Regina, the Warriors led 2-1 after the first period. In the second, Pats outscored the opposition 4-2 and then added three third period markers.
Connor Bedard led the Pats with a hattrick and five points. Regina’s other goals were scored by Alexander Suzdalev, Tanner Howe, Borya Valis, Zane Rowan, and Tye Spencer. Pats goalie Drew Sim made 39 saves on 43 shots.
Martin Rysavy scored twice for Moose Jaw. Eric Alarie and Brayden Yager had the Warriors’ other goals. Jackson Unger made 19 saves.
The Pats are in Prince Albert on Friday to take on the Raiders. On Saturday, Winnipeg Ice visit Regina.
