ESTEVAN - The third day of play is underway at the master's men's and women's curling provincials at the Power Dodge Curling Centre in Estevan.
Nine men's teams and six women's teams are entered.
Two teams from the southeast are entered. The Bill Kapiczowski rink sits at 4-0 after winning both of their games on Friday. They rallied from a 6-3 deficit to defeat the Bill Weppler rink 8-6, thanks in large part to a four-point end in the seventh.
And then they edged Francis Schmeicel 8-7, thanks to two in the eighth.
Other members of the Kapiczowski rink are lead Lawrence Hansen, second Ron Rittaler and third Gary Cheney.
Lampman's Trent Walter won both of his games and has a 2-2 record. His rink blanked Gord Bell 7-0 and then knocked off Brad Heidt 7-5.
The Walter rink also includes lead Gerald Clark, second Jim Brown and third Dave Wetsch.
Three women's teams are tied for top spot at 2-1: Jacquie Swiderski, Bev Krasowski and Lorraine Arguin.
Draw times for Saturday are at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The tournament has a round robin for men's and women's teams. The top four teams in each will advance to the playoffs on Sunday. Semifinals are Sunday at 9 a.m. and finals are at 2 p.m.
