Redvers Rockets win Game 3 of the Big Six final

The Carnduff Red Devils faced the Redvers Rockets in Game 3 Wednesday night.

REDVERS - The Redvers Rockets are still alive in the Big Six Hockey League’s championship series. 

Redvers defeated the Carnduff Red Devils 4-1 Wednesday night in Game 3 of the best of five final. Carnduff still leads the series 2-1. 

The Red Devils held a 1-0 lead after the first period on a goal by Ben Hiltz. Redvers recovered to lead 2-1 after the second period, thanks to goals by Brady Gaudet and  Daylin Smallchild less than 90 seconds apart.

Preston Kopeck and Drew Hoff tallied in the third to give Redvers some insurance. 

Cody Dumaine was in goal for Carnduff, while Cody Matthewson was the Redvers goalie. 

Carnduff will have the chance to clinch the series on home ice in Game 4 on March 26. Game time is 8 p.m. Game 5, if necessary, would be two nights later in Redvers and would start at 7 p.m.
