ESTEVAN - The Southeast U18 AAA Twins won three more times on the weekend and have now won six straight games in Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League action.
The Twins started their run with an 8-1 win over the Regina White Sox Friday night at Lynn Prime Park. The Twins scored in every inning except for one, and allowed just two hits in the contest.
Mitch Himmelspach had three hits, two runs and a run batted in (RBI) to pace the offence.
Sutter Balog started and allowed the two hits and one run while striking out 13. Sam Mallory didn't allow a baserunner in two innings of relief. Sixteen of the 21 outs the Twins recorded were by strikeout.
The following day, the Twins doubled up the White Butte Broncos 4-2 and then crushed the Broncos 18-7.
The Twins were down 2-0 entering the bottom of the fifth inning in the first game, but then scored four times. Carter Beck hit a solo home run and Callum Hollinger had a two-run double, his second double of the game.
Aiden Trimble allowed four hits and two runs while striking out seven in five innings, while Conner Kerr didn't give up a run in relief.
The Twins scored at least three runs in each inning of the second game, and the mercy rule was invoked after 4 1/2 innings. Chase Himmelspach had four hits, seven RBIs and scored once, while Hollinger had four runs, four RBIs and three hits.
Kade Phillips and Keaton Husband shared the pitching duties for the Twins, who have a 15-2 record in league play.

The South East U15 AAA A's, who play out of Alameda, went 3-1 in their weekend games.
The first games were a 13-12 loss in extra innings and a 9-4 win against the Regina White Sox on Saturday. The White Sox led 8-1 through four innings, but the A's scored five in the fifth. After the White Sox scored three in the sixth, the A's added five more to tie the game.
Each team scored once in the seventh, and the White Sox scored the winning run in the eighth. Caden Dorrance had two hits, including a home run, and scored twice and had an RBI. Ryker Wall had three runs, three hits and an RBI. Jaxon Kuchinka and Tyson Hardy had three RBIs each.
The following day, the A's scored five in the fifth to blow open a close 3-1 game. Luke Holman scored three times and had two hits, while Reese Copeland had two hits, two RBIs and a run.
Tristan Brownridge went six innings and struck out four while allowing two runs.
The following day, the A's earned two convincing victories, 21-9 and 14-6 over the Moose Jaw Canucks.
The A's scored 10 times in the fourth inning to rally from an 8-5 deficit in the first game. Dorrance, Copeland and Wall had home runs in the game. Dorrance finished with five RBIs and Wall had four.
Every A's hitter who dressed for the game had a hit.
Nathan Gardiner came on in relief and gave up just one unearned run in two innings.
In the second game, the A's scored four times in the first and three times in the second to lead 7-0 and have all the offence they needed.
Copeland and Hardy had home runs. Copeland finished with three runs, two hits and six RBIs, while Hardy had three runs, two hits and four RBIs.
Dorrance gave up four runs, one earned, in four innings to help the A's improve to 11-10 on the season.
Earlier in the week, the A's won 5-0 over the Swift Current 57s Tuesday night. Dorrance hit a home run and had two RBIs.
Holman gave up five hits and struck out four in the complete-game shutout.
