Weyburn Filipino Basketball Society hosts two-day tournament

A 13-team two-day basketball tournament was hosted over the weekend by the Weyburn Filipino Basketball Society at the Weyburn Comp Eagle gym.

WEYBURN — A 13-team two-day basketball tournament was hosted over the weekend by the Weyburn Filipino Basketball Society at the Weyburn Comp Eagle gym.

Teams came from Oxbow, Estevan, Carlyle, Regina and Lethbridge in addition to Weyburn’s teams.

In the Masters Division, the champion was Regina Biz Blitz, with Weyburn as the runner-up, and Estevan as second runner-up.

In the Open Division, the champion was Estevan, with Weyburn as runner-up, and Carlyle as second runner-up.
