WEYBURN — The Weyburn Curling Rink hosted the South Division of the Sask Women's Curling Tour over the weekend, including some Weyburn curlers taking part.
The competitions provided an opportunity for teams to earn points for the women's curling tour standings as they work towards the qualifying matches and provincials to come in January and February, 2022.
Two Weyburn rinks competed at the Weyburn stop in the tour, including the Emily Haupstein rink and the Jade Bloor rink, plus local curler Jordan Maas played on the Howard rink, one of the top contending rinks in the provincial standings right now.
The Weyburn Curling Rink will also host play on the Dec. 4-5 weekend, as the rinks compete to earn points in the standings.
